Studying abroad through Fast Track to ISE Program at University of Duisburg-Essen was the best decision I’ve made so far. I had the opportunity to start my Bachelor’s degree program in one of the top universities in Germany, without entering the Studienkolleg or paying the tuition fees. This program is very cost- and time-saving for me as an Indonesian student.
International Studies in Engineering (ISE) program use English as language of instruction in all classes of the first common year of studies. This really helps me to a better understanding and gives me time to improve my German language capabilities, so that I can follow classes which are taught in German language from the second year onwards.
University of Duisburg-Essen is a great pathway for the next step after Bachelor’s degree program, whether continue the studies in a Master’s degree program, or apply for a job in industry. Also, UDE is located in the heart of Germany, and students can easily move within the cities of North-Rhine Westphalia state with the student ID card.
Most importantly, one of Germany’s key benefits is how inexpensive it is, and when studying abroad, it makes a key difference. And the last, I make lasting friendships and learn from the international people that I meet here. Germany is so rich in diversity and colorful. A great opportunity that can’t be missed by anyone and everyone!
