In year 2014 Mercator Science & Education in UKM Campus is a licensed test center for TestAS (Test for Academic Studies) Registration for the test can only be done online through their website. Following is information about both TestAS:

About TestAS

TestAS is the aptitude test for any international student who wants to follow a study programme in Germany. Each year over 5,000 students take this test worldwide. TestAS tests skills that will be very important for your success as a student, for example: logical thinking, recognizing structures or solving problems. TestAS proves what you are capable of and helps you to find out whether a certain study programme is the right choice for you.

Universities both in Germany and abroad use TestAS result to select students for their study programs. TestAS is available in German or English. The test begins with the language test onscreen and is then followed by the Core Test, which tests your universal study skills. Lastly it is followed by a Subject-Specific module, which tests skills that are typically needed in your chosen field of study. The modules;

• Humanities, Cultural Studies and Social Sciences Module,
• Engineering Module,
• Mathematics, Computer Science and Natural Sciences Module,
• Economics Module.

Languages:
TestAS is offered in English as well as in German.

How to practice:
Click on ‘Sample Questions” on the TestAS website in order to familiarise yourself with format and structure.
